Race

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 1991, Serge began his career in leading international firms — Theodore Goddard, then Ashurst from 1995 — before founding his own firm, Wilinski Scotto et Associés, which became WSA, in 1997.

This entrepreneurial spirit led him, during the WSA merger in 2011, to become one of the founding partners of Marvell, and then, in 2022, to reactivate his own firm under the name WB Legal. This career path, marked by the creation and development of several structures, gives him a direct understanding of the governance, organizational, and development challenges that his executive clients themselves face.

Serge has been a partner at the Brandeis Paris office since September 1, 2026.

Areas of expertise

Serge combines dual expertise in corporate law and social law, which gives him a unique perspective, highly valued in complex corporate reorganizations involving several legal specialties.

His experience in Private Equity has also led him to develop recognized expertise on management package issues for executives.

He has finally built, through his work on various cases, an expertise in handling international transactions and disputes in most areas of business law.

This dual reading of the company — economic and social — is fully in line with the conception of law that Bureau Brandeis Paris promotes: understanding the realities and balances of the company in order to give its leaders the means to decide and act.

Serge mainly works with an international clientele and is perfectly bilingual in French and English.

Distinctions and associations

Serge has been a member of the Legal Netlink Alliance board of directors for many years, where he actively contributes to its international development — a role that allows him to mobilize expertise in many jurisdictions for his clients.

He is also a member of Avosial, a professional association of lawyers specializing in social law.

Serge has been featured in the French edition of Best Lawyers continuously since 2013 and is regularly cited in the Leaders’ League rankings.
